I redesigned Denim Dream’s eCommerce website and iOS and Android apps to create a more premium, engaging, and conversion-focused digital shopping experience.

Fashion retail is not only about what people buy. It is about how they see themselves when they find it.
That was the starting point for my work with Denim Dream: redesigning the eCommerce website and iOS and Android apps so the digital experience could carry the same sense of quality, style, and self-expression as the brand’s physical stores.
Denim Dream has grown since 2003 into one of the leading fashion retailers in the Baltics, with more than 60 stores across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The business had already built a strong position in physical retail. The next challenge was making the digital experience feel equally considered.
The challenge
Denim Dream’s strength goes beyond its product catalogue. The brand brings together internationally recognised fashion labels, carefully selected collections, and the feeling of finding something that fits your identity.
The digital experience needed to do more than display products. It had to create context, support discovery, and make the journey from inspiration to purchase feel natural.
Customers move between mobile, desktop, physical stores, and other digital touchpoints. The experience needed to hold together across all of them, while supporting:
- Modern shopping behaviour
- Mobile-first usage
- Product discovery
- Customer engagement
- Brand storytelling
- Conversion flow
- Consistency across platforms
The objective was not simply to make the interface look newer. It was to improve the entire digital customer journey without losing the emotional quality of premium fashion retail.
Research before redesign
I began through Xfiner with a comprehensive UX audit of Denim Dream’s eCommerce platform and mobile applications. Before changing layouts or visual details, I wanted to understand where the existing experience was creating friction and where it was already working well.
The research focused on:
- Customer friction points
- Navigation issues
- Opportunities for stronger engagement
- Mobile usability improvements
- Conversion bottlenecks
- User behaviour across platforms
This work shaped the redesign strategy and helped prioritise the changes most likely to improve the experience for real customers, rather than simply making the interface more fashionable.
Redesigning the digital shopping experience
The redesign touched the major customer-facing digital touchpoints across the website and apps. I wanted the experience to feel smoother, more intuitive, and more emotionally engaging while staying true to Denim Dream’s premium positioning.
