I created a complete brand refresh for Black Diamondz, redesigned its luxury real estate platform across desktop and mobile, and designed a premium printed magazine for its most valuable customers.

Luxury is not a category. It is a standard, and every detail has to live up to it.
That was the starting point for my work with Black Diamondz, an Australian luxury real estate and lifestyle company built around exceptional property, global access, and highly personal service.
They asked me to create a complete brand refresh from the ground up, redesign their luxury real estate platform for desktop and mobile, and develop a substantial printed magazine for their most valuable customers.
The work was not about making the brand look more expensive. It was about making the entire experience feel worthy of the people, properties, and possibilities Black Diamondz represents.
A total brand makeover
The project began with the foundations. I created new brand guidelines from scratch and used them to bring the identity into a sharper, more confident, and more coherent direction.
The work covered the visual language, messaging style, typography, colour, layout principles, imagery, and the way the brand should appear across different mediums.
Rather than treating each touchpoint as a separate design exercise, I built a system that could hold everything together, from a property listing on a screen to a printed editorial piece held in someone’s hands.
The result was a complete brand makeover and refresh: refined enough for the luxury market, distinctive enough to be remembered, and flexible enough to support a growing international business.
Designing for discretion and desire
Black Diamondz operates in a world where property is only part of the experience. The company connects people with homes, opportunities, lifestyle, and a level of access that is often private rather than public.
That required a visual direction with restraint. Luxury does not need to shout. It needs to create confidence, communicate taste, and make people feel that they are being given access to something considered and exceptional.
I paid close attention to what clients need to see, what they want to feel, and what gives them confidence to take the next step. Every choice had to support clarity, trust, and a sense of quiet exclusivity.
A platform for remarkable properties
With the brand foundations in place, I redesigned the Black Diamondz real estate platform across desktop and mobile.
The platform needed to make browsing feel effortless while giving each listing the space it deserved. The homes were the focus, but the experience around them had to provide the right context: the story, the location, the details, and the feeling of the life being offered.
I designed a wide range of views for the company, its services, and its luxury listings. Together, these pages formed a more structured and seamless experience for discovering properties and understanding the Black Diamondz difference.
The design system allowed the platform to feel consistent without making every page feel identical. It could adapt to a private listing, a signature property, a company story, or a lifestyle-led editorial moment while remaining unmistakably Black Diamondz.
